Meet Indraneel Chakravarty
Indraneel’s life path has been fascinating and arduously thrilling. Having begun as a journalist and a writer, his career moved the corporate way – working with giants like as Novartis, ICICI Pru, Infosys and Reliance Industries Ltd. managing HR and large-scale Operations, across the globe. It’s been the same for the other Founding Partners as well, as they too have distinguished corporate careers in their respective professional journeys.
Indraneel believes that leaving promising job opportunities, to pursue a career as an Entrepreneur was the most difficult decision he has made and that his journey with his founding partners to ensure that their new venture sees the light of day and overcomes all initial hiccups, particularly during the pandemic phase, has been the most memorable phase of his life.

Expanding while Achieving New Heights
Brand CAB-E has been in business for a little over a year – a time when the Corona Virus reigned supreme. An era in which many businesses were forced to close and in which life was drastically disturbed. The capacity to build up a firm during this disturbing period and develop what is known as “Market Relevance” during this time, has thus been the most significant success.
Today, the firm has 100K+ customers in Mumbai (and Pune), has completed 20K+ trips, served 5L+ kms. of smiles with an average rating of 4.95 and is assured that 50%+ of its active commuters are repeat customers for them. They have grown organically and service the Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, Ulhas Nagar, Dombivilli, Badlapur and Palghar areas as well, in addition to serving commuters in Mumbai (MMR).
Indraneel states, “Very soon we plan to be in Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad as well. We believe, this is just the beginning.”
Throughout this journey, CAB EEZ INFRA TECH has hired 100+ unemployed drivers, assisted with vaccination efforts for older or senior residents, facilitated employee mobility for an IT major, launched a really inexpensive ambulance service and most significantly, saved Mumbai 150+ tonnes of CO2. “This is what we believe, is a significant milestone for us.”
The firm has also created a very large charging infrastructure for itself, with 10 HUBS in and around Mumbai, so that it can service its commuters from any part of the territory, regardless of location. Furthermore, it has just entered the B2B market as well.

Indraneel has been inspired by two greats of India Inc., NR Narayana Murthy and Ratan Tata, in every aspect of his life. He says he has attempted to mould his life in their values – whether through resilience, pursuit of greatness, tenacity, upholding high ethical standards, or, most significantly, by being excellent human beings like who they are. Indraneel aspires to live up to the title of being their protégé one day.

After laying the groundwork for Brand Cab-E in Mumbai, the team intends to build on its success. For the time being, the team will focus on developing in Mumbai, with plans to have a substantial market presence in Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad within the next 2-3 quarters. This will assist in passing the conservation baton to the next level before they embark on Pan-India activities and, later, global markets.
