Dr Madhavi Pudi is the founder and CEO of Dr Madhavi s Advanced Skin Hair and Laser clinic. She did her schooling in Kotak school, Vizag, and her MBBS in Andhra Medical College Hyderabad. She did her Postgraduation in Dermatology at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad.

When she completed her Post-graduation, she wanted to work in one of the then well-established cosmetology chains as a doctor. However, fate had other plans. Her father advised think big and you will become big. This motto pushed her to start her own center – Dr Madhavi’s Advanced Skin Hair and Laser clinic. Initially she practiced mostly clinical dermatology. Later on, after attending several seminars in India and Abroad, she started doing more and more cosmetology work. Cosmetology is not just skin deep. It involves a deep understanding of the patient, and their needs and motivations. I could make a real change in this segment.

For example, till now we are using platelet rich plasma as a tool in multiple areas of the body, as a growth factor for hair, facial rejuvenation etc. Soon we will be also using fat grafts and stromal fractions for the same.
The healthcare industry is a service industry. It requires a human touch always. Once it was thought that there was a limit to the industry and there would be saturation. However, this is not be. The sector will keep booming.
