Q. Give a detailed description of the Founder/CEO/Management’s contribution over the company and the industry.?
Sakshi Gehani, the principal designer at ‘Innover by Sakshi Gehani’ steered her way into the industry of design at a rather young age. All at the age of 19, Sakshi chose to follow her passion for Interior Design turning it into a fulfilling career for herself. Breaking all stereotypes, set norms and many a No’s from everyone around her, she formed Innover at a very young age of 23. Building from the ground up, with no capital other then her personal savings and work experience, to now Innover being an award-winning design studio she stands today as an inspiration to young entrepreneurs that good design, work ethic and a strong will is all it takes to make a mark. Her atypical sense of design and youthful approach blended with a sound technical eye paves way for an evergrowing goodwill amongst clients and designs that resonate with the users personalities.
Q. Kindly talk about the exclusive products or services offered by the company, How does it distinguish you from your competitors?
At Innover, we provide start to finish Interior design consultancy services as well as Turnkey solutions. A highly detail-oriented approach, resourcefulness coupled with our key driving force to create deeply personal spaces that are unique to each client has helped us strengthen our roots in the world of design. Design exists in every aspect of life and at Innover we help design a lifestyle- an intangible result of good Interior Design.
Q. Could you please share your noted milestones, accomplishments throughout your journey so far, along with company highlights and achievements under your leadership.
A happy clientele is one of our continuing accomplishments and one we highly value and work towards each day and with every new project. Innover was founded in 2017 with a passionate dream of creating inspiring spaces and the same has facilitated Innover to be awarded as ‘The most trusted Interior Design Studio- Maharashtra, 2020 : Residential and Commercial category’ and also to have been listed under the ‘40 under 40 Best Interior Designers in India,2020’. Insightful magazine features into our work philosophy and our story are some other highlights in our journey so far.
To add to our recent highlights – Innover has recently branched out into creating bespoke furniture pieces – inspired out of interesting design tales and experiences where each piece is being designed with great love and detail
Q. Please share the most memorable and remarkable moment of your life.
The day I took the leap of faith and finally bought ‘Innover By Sakshi Gehani’ to life has to be the most memorable and remarkable moment of my life as it marks the beginning of everything that has unfolded so far – all the experiences: good and teaching ones, the unmatched joy after every successful completion of a project, the fulfillment that the design process brings along with it, the beautiful bonds I have thus built with some genuinely amazing clients and all the milestones I have achieved so far. It’s the moment I listened to my heart and laid the foundation to my dream of ‘creating beautiful and inspiring spaces for my clients’ and thus is liberating and motivating even today when I look back.
Q. Where do you see yourself and the company in the future? Or, what is your goal to mark the uniqueness in future?
At Innover we believe that great design, should be accessible to all. And that each project must communicate our client’s story with the help of our technical and design expertise. It is the goal I started with and continue to put my heart into. Seeing our clients walk into their new spaces with happy hearts and excited eyes is the kind of end result we work for; which truly helps clients witness the “Innover By Sakshi Gehani difference’ as I like to call it.
Creating more and more such inspiring spaces and then some more , with a female led and driven studio is the dream.
Q. Advice for the entrepreneur who is trying to embark in the same field.
Design comes from a place called heart and its meant to touch hearts….Its a business of building homes and spaces- a very personal experience for all clients and hence should be met with a certain responsibility. Building a relation of trust with clients plays a crucial role in the outcome of all projects and that is something which is directly proportional to what you bring to the table. So work on that , on your skills and then follow your heart – young or old just begin where you are, it’s the only way forward.
Q. What is the one thing that is acting as your motivational tool? Or, who is your role model and how the person inspires and motivates you?
Telling my client’s story though design is the one thing that motivates me even today. Every new project I get, I get secretly excited like a child unwrapping her birthday presents…I am all eager and charged up for what new I can create out of those bare 4 walls and love to watch the process unfold thereon. The design process is the ultimate fuel.
