She was never a kitchen-oriented person, but then destiny had its own say. Nidhi got married into a foodie family where everyone was so particular about the taste of what they eat. She had to learn the recipes and try different ways to present them. Lots of times she has fallen flat on her face too. Falling and getting up is intrinsic to growth and what matters is whether that fall taught you something & are you moving forward, not merely with more confidence, but with enhanced knowledge and learning. Having been a Chef to foodies at home, the company is a mere step-over of scaling up her culinary skills.

Challenges that Made the Company Strong-
During the lockdown, Nidhi realized that our snacking habits had got significantly influenced. The sedentary lifestyle and limited entertainment options had made many of us couch potatoes. Snacks had evolved into not merely satiating our hunger but also a go to option for our boredom. This made her think about KrrunchIt.
When she started her venture, there was only one dream, no business plan or a defined layout as how to grow. Nidhi also dared to start this during the Pandemic. It had its own share of problems.
The biggest problem was sourcing Raw material as the entire supply chain around the country was disrupted. Another problem was logistics.
Labour and staff were another issue, since everyone had returned to their hometown. There was a time where, the company had orders but zero work force but Nidhi’s family stood by her. When she was constantly tied up in production, her son took charge of packing and her husband handled the back office.
“My family kept me motivated to keep moving ahead. Products might fail, timeline may not be met but this all is a part of business. Most important is how we muster all of the good stuff around us and get back on track.”
The Road Ahead-
KrrunchIt will soon be foraying into the Retail Segment. Consumers now seek convenience – Be it packed size or bite sized packs. This is the prevailing trend in the food industry.
The objective is to be within the consumers grasp whether in location or affordability which will ensure that there would be no looking back. As the core of marketing is increasing the awareness of the brand, the team is sure that this awareness will soon translate into new clients and increased business.

Nidhi’s Message to Budding Entrepreneurs-
“It is entirely false to say that men are more competent by virtue of gender. It is incorrect to believe that a women should run a business like a man. In order to take a role of Entrepreneur, we must dare to proclaim our values with confidence. One should lead with their instincts, especially when making decisions.
I was motivated by my Grandfather Late. Mr. Santosh Singh Jain. He always used encourage me and told me “ It doesn’t matter if you are not experienced, you have all the potential to become an entrepreneur as long as you believe in your powers”. This always made me stand firm against all odds and his inspiring words transformed my fear into boldness and failures into learning.”
