Surpassing Challenges
Prismatic Softwares overcame several challenges after its inception, Sambprasad, shares some of the challenges with us to understand the journey better.
The first challenge Prismatic confronted was getting direct customers overseas after creating successful
domestic stories. It was essential to expand the operations for global customers, and hence Prismatic invested in
foreign visits with the help of private sales agencies and industry bodies like NASSCOM. This helped the company reach out to global markets, understand the market needs and accordingly strategise its sales and marketing plans.
Another challenge for the company was to acquire an anchor customer who can give them long-term projects.
Prismatic could achieve this by collaborating with its US partner company Luitporia Inc. The company also
faces a major challenge in attracting talent and retaining them. Regarding the same, Sambprasad says,
“We are working on various employee engagement initiatives along with much-planned marketing efforts to solve this problem. We are also building our own recruitment and training team.”
The Major Turning Points
There were three major turning points for Prismatic.
One of the major turning points of Prismatic involves the successful delivery of its first project. A backend engine for a Recharge Aggregator company was successfully delivered in 3 months. This project also had a user interface for administration and a few background processes for reporting and notifications. Since this delivery was on time and as per expected nonfunctional requirements of performance and volume handling, its customer could acquire a sizable market share of the recharge segment. Prismatic application successfully handled 5 lakhs daily transactions with a monetary value of 3 CR daily. It ran seamlessly for 5 consecutive years, and we were maintaining the same. Prismatic successfully managed to provide efficient, cost-effective service, This gave the company the confidence and motivation to take the next leap.
Another turning point for the company came in 2019, in which Prismatic had a US stakeholder. This was a significant achievement of Prismatic as they wanted an Indian partner for their development work with enterprise clients. This has given good stability to Prismatic in achieving anchor customers and long-term contracts.
As part of its turning points and growing success, the company has been focusing on acquiring a
customer in the German Market for the last four years. Finally, they had a significant breakthrough this year when they worked for a start-up in Germany, which outsourced a few mobile development projects which the company could successfully deliver end to end. This is a big achievement towards acquiring more customers in Germany.

Prismatic is currently working with one of the largest energy solutions companies in the world.
“We are partnering with them in their development initiatives. The energy sector is coming up with a lot of
game-changing innovations. It is fascinating to be a part of the team as contributors there,” asserts Sambprasad
regarding the same.
The team at Prismatic is also working with a local start-up and helping them in their user interface development. This is a B2C platform, and providing satisfying UI/UX services is opening many opportunities for us in the UI / UX sector.
Also, they are partnering with another IT giant in India and helping them to build their in-house product platform. This is technically very challenging as all cutting edge frameworks, and tools have been used, and the
problems being solved are complex.
The Luminating Future
Prismatic has a stakeholder in the US since last year, the company will be aggressively looking to expand its client base in the US. The company believes there will be opportunities in the blockchain area where their US counterpart has started consulting. The development opportunities will be offshored to Prismatic Softwares.
