The IT landscape is rapidly evolving, as are the demands and expectations of the companies that get IT services. Rapid digital change is all about today’s IT environment. Companies must transition from old software to more current ERPs and bespoke apps infused with AI and ML technology to enable quicker and more accurate decision making. Cloud computing is accelerating and growing with every passing day. The post-COVID world is brimming with prospects for businesses like ours since there is a high need to digitalize organizational procedures and workflows.
Another term nowadays is process automation, which will assist the Indian industry in transitioning from a slow-moving behemoth to a more agile, lean, and tech-savvy conglomerate.
In today’s landscape, startups play an important role in disruptive solutions to change how we live, consume and communicate. “As an IT company, we will have to make sure we are ready with a solution that best suits the current Industry demands to make sure we can solve the right problem at the right time,” says Shuchi Singla, founder and CEO of BaffleSol Technologies.
Shuchi Singla is an established business leader with over 17 years of experience in several IT firms and an entrepreneur and process transformation coach (using Agile, Lean, and Kanban). She is the first female XSCALE steward globally and has mentored several Agile, XSCALE, startup, and entrepreneurial communities and forums.
Shuchi began her process transformation career in 2011. She learned how to maintain a team focused on continuous improvement, follow procedures, and reach the ultimate objective while working for big MNCs. Her entrepreneurial experience began in 2014 when she founded BaffleSol Technologies, a pioneer in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and digital transformation.
As her entrepreneurial experience began, she understood that large-scale businesses and startups have distinct issues, and it is challenging to apply the same concepts to both. As CEO, she has helped BaffleSol’s operations, including sales, marketing, and project delivery, and has ensured that the firm expands following its core beliefs. Shuchi currently advises companies to develop business processes, shorten time to market, spot bottlenecks while performing work processes, and eliminate delivery delays.

The Changing Scenario in the Workplace Due to the Pandemic
According to Shuchi, everything has altered with the pandemic, including the hurdles of new demand, reengaging with clients, recreating opportunity pipelines, along worker health and safety issues. Concerns such as when to return to the office and which hybrid strategy to take have become vexing questions. She says, “Overwhelming uncertainty about the length of the pandemic, the direction of the economy, and the unknown impact on the markets has become another challenge to deal with.”
She believes that the amount of energy, innovation, and the focus required to overcome all of the team’s challenges and then move toward recovery will continue to be enormous. However, she thinks, “We can’t stop; we need to pace ahead by keeping the opinions of our employees/peers/team members in mind and be open in considering their experiences and knowledge.”
During these difficult times, things that worked for BaffleSol in maintaining team spirit and motivation included.
- They are allowing team members to work flexible hours.
- They are equipping employees with policies to encourage a lateral shift in the job. Employees can switch based on their interest outside domains basis available positions to explore new opportunities.
- Create an in-house buddy system for new joiners as part of the onboarding process, making settling into the new work culture easier.

BaffleSol product offerings include commodity management solutions, Distribution/dealer management software, HRM Software, Ruh -bot (an AI Chatbot), and Outfluence (Calendar and Task Management App). According to Shuchi, the company’s solutions are intended to provide a higher ROI to organizations in both the short and long run. These solutions are simple to deploy and work with most third-party systems.
Milestones during Getting Better
In 2017, Bafflesol formed a partnership with Microsoft and signed its first contract for maintenance and customization with a Fortune 500 firm. At the end of 2017, the firm produced its HR solution, HR Marvel, which automates an employee’s full recruitment to retirement cycle, lacking in today’s ERP systems. This resulted in the company’s clients saving valuable time and money on resource-intensive tasks, allowing them to allocate resources to more strategic objectives.

“We got our silver partnership with Microsoft in 2020,” Shuchi says.
Envisioning to Solve Real Problems
Shuchi’s goal is to grow BaffleSol to a $10 million revenue company by 2024-2025, which would necessitate significant investment in people, new talents, and technology. She would like to invest in workforce upskilling because they will be the tools for achieving the transformation that most Indian businesses require today.
BaffleSol aspires to be a significant player in cloud solutions like Azure or AWS. Because the cloud is the future of work, BaffleSol aims to be a one-stop-shop for all cloud-enabled solutions required to automate FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Durables, Commodities, Entertainment, and Automotive operations. BaffleSol aims to grow from less than 100 to close to 500 by 2024.
